With a passion for people and making a way for others in the world, Amber is committed to lifelong servant leadership.

Originally interested in being an international ambassador and entrepreneur, Amber received her undergraduate degree from Santa Clara University in Marketing, International Business, and Spanish. After ten years working in the entertainment and professional sports industries for companies like The Picture People, Viejas and Table Mountain Casinos, and the San Francisco 49ers, Amber was called to be an ambassador afterall - only not to foreign countries, but instead to our local communities.

Amber’s love for people, especially those that go unseen, unheard, unknown, and misunderstood, propelled her into the life-giving vocation of Christian Counseling. Training and serving with the international organizations, Athletes in Action and CRU, Amber guided hundreds of collegiate student athletes and students, as well as their roommates, friends, and families for eight years. In 2018, it was evident that the time had come to pair her experience with her entrepreneurial spirit. She founded her nonprofit, AWAKE, in the hopes of serving all ages with guidance and healing to live abundantly. In 2020, Amber became an ordained minister. She blends the principles found in faith with successful mental health practices for long-term client victory. Amber believes that it is possible for everyone to love their story, and thus be free of all that paralyzes them from living out their purpose.

In her thirteenth year coming alongside others as a counselor, Amber only grows in her passionate pursuit to inspire others to thrive. Determined to serve our community outside of the office too, Amber is grateful to be involved in The Cadillac Rotary Club, Oasis Family Resource Center, and Cadillac Chamber of Commerce. 

AWAKE is located in downtown Cadillac with sessions available virtually and in person. Amber, Dan, and their six children also live in Cadillac.
